Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is a country and pop music singer. Ashley Monroe was part of a group called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album, titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over 15 years. She was the majority of that time as the city's deputy manager in Iowa City. Ashley's role in Riverside is to aid in the day-to-day operations of village services and implement the vision for strategic planning set out by the elected officials. Ashley has held a variety of roles previously, such as municipal planning and government communication budgeting personnel management collective bargaining in addition to focus on climate change projects. Because of her involvement with national organizations and work in communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained an understanding of the many complexities and differences when it comes to the ways public agencies operate. Ashley's emphasis on adapting to the current issues and opportunities, navigating community and intergovernmental relations and making ethical decisions will provide a framework for aspiring professionals as well as those working within public organizations.
